Job summary

Tradeify, a fast-growing futures trading company in the United States, is seeking a Senior Video Editor who excels at ads, promo videos, and explainer content. You will own post-production for our top creative, collaborating with marketing, design, and social to raise the quality bar.

You will edit for Meta, YouTube, TikTok, and X, craft engaging explainers, integrate AI-generated footage with live action, and mentor junior editors.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional video editing experience with ads, promos, and explainers.
• Expert-level skills in Premiere Pro and After Effects (or DaVinci Resolve with motion design).
• Proven track record of high-performing ad creative and ability to explain why it worked.
• Excellent storytelling, pacing, and sound design with strong visuals.
• Ability to translate finance or trading topics into clear visuals.
• Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of financial marketing rules and disclosures.

Responsibilities

• Edit and deliver high-performing ad creative for Meta, YouTube, TikTok, and X with variants for testing.
• Produce polished promo videos for product launches, campaigns, partnerships, and brand moments.
• Craft clear, engaging explainer videos that simplify trading products and platform features.
• Integrate AI-generated footage with live-action and screen-recorded material into a premium product.
• Add motion graphics, UI treatments, sound design, and color for a premium finish.
• Adapt videos for 9:16, 4:5, 1:1, 16:9 and generate multiple versions.
• Collaborate with marketing and performance teams to apply results to future edits.
• Maintain brand consistency and reusable templates/assets.
• Coordinate with product, support, and compliance for accuracy and disclosures.
• Mentor junior editors and freelancers.

The Opportunity

Video is one of the most important ways we reach and educate traders. We're looking for a Senior Video Editor who is S-tier at ads, promo videos, and explainer videos and can raise the quality bar across everything we publish. You'll turn briefs, raw footage, AI-generated footage, screen recordings, and rough ideas into sharp, high-performing videos that drive sign-ups and build trust with a trader audience that spots fluff immediately.

You’ll own post-production for our most important creative, work closely with marketing, design, and social, and help set the standard for video at Tradeify.

What You Will Do

• Edit and deliver high-performing ad creative for Meta, YouTube, TikTok, and X, with strong hooks, tight pacing, and multiple variants built for testing

• Produce polished promo videos for product launches, campaigns, partnerships, and brand moments

• Craft clear, engaging explainer videos that make trading products, rules, and platform features easy to understand

• Edit and shape AI-generated footage alongside live-action and screen-recorded material into cohesive, premium-looking videos

• Add motion graphics, animated text, UI and screen-recording treatments, sound design, and color to give every video a premium finish

• Adapt videos across formats and aspect ratios (9:16, 4:5, 1:1, 16:9) and cut multiple versions from a single master

• Work with marketing and performance teams to apply results (hook rate, hold rate, CTR, conversion) to future edits

• Maintain brand consistency and build reusable templates, assets, and project libraries that speed up the whole pipeline

• Work with product, support, and compliance so videos are accurate, consistent, and properly disclosed

• Mentor junior editors and freelancers and help raise the creative standard across the team

What We Are Looking For

• 5+ years of professional video editing experience, with a portfolio showing top-tier work in ads, promo videos, and explainer videos

• Expert-level skills in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects (or DaVinci Resolve with strong motion design skills)

• A track record of ad creative that performed, and the ability to explain why it worked

• Excellent storytelling instincts: you know how to hook in the first seconds and hold attention to the end

• Strong command of pacing, typography, sound design, and music selection

• Ability to turn complex or technical topics, such as finance, trading, or software, into clear, engaging visuals

• Familiarity with financial marketing rules, including avoiding profit guarantees and including appropriate risk disclosures

• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and hit deadlines in a fast-moving, high-volume environment

• Openness to feedback and a collaborative approach to revisions

Nice to Have

• A background in videography or cinematography, since we generate much of our footage with AI and a trained eye for composition, lighting, and camera language helps

• Familiarity with AI video and audio tools (such as Higgsfield, Seedance, and ElevenLabs) and generative workflows

• Experience in fintech, trading, crypto, or financial services

• 2D/3D animation skills (Cinema 4D, Blender) or Figma-to-motion workflows

• Experience with creator or UGC-style and short-form social content
