Job summary

CoffeeSpace in Los Angeles is seeking a senior software engineer to build high-throughput video processing pipelines, design event-driven workloads on Kafka and Kubernetes, and develop AI enrichment systems across teams.

You will own ingestion and processing pipelines, shape the core platform alongside the founding CTO, and work with cutting-edge technologies at the intersection of AI and gaming.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of production software experience across backend, frontend, and data-heavy systems.
• Deep experience with video processing pipelines and signal processing.

Responsibilities

• Build video processing pipelines including transcoding, packaging, and GPU workflows.
• Design event-driven workloads on Kafka and Kubernetes.
• Develop AI enrichment systems for scoring, metadata extraction, and dataset recommendations.
• Create internal apps for capture teams and data managers.
• Design data models for provenance, asset versioning, and analytics.
• Build monitoring and analytics to understand throughput and customer behavior.
