Job summary

BNY Mellon in Pittsburgh, PA, is seeking a Senior Vice President, Product Management to lead strategic product initiatives across our custody and institutional banking domains. You will partner with cross-functional teams to shape roadmaps and drive execution in a highly matrixed environment.

The role emphasizes leveraging AI responsibly, translating user needs into crisp user stories, maintaining a multi-sprint ahead backlog, and owning the operating model and communications for your products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business management, finance or related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
• 8–10+ years of product management with experience creating strategic roadmaps and working with cross-functional teams in a highly matrixed environment.
• Experience utilizing AI in product development is preferred.
• Experience building and launching products from ideation through launch and revision.
• Deep knowledge and experience in agile methodologies, including writing well-defined stories and acceptance criteria, and being able to provide daily direction to an agile team.
• Prior experience working in the financial services industry, specifically prior knowledge of the Custody business and/or institutional banking preferred.
