BNY is seeking a SVP, Product Management (Data) in Boston/ NYC / Lake Mary to lead data-centric product initiatives for Asset Owner and Asset Manager clients. The role focuses on defining data capabilities, driving end-to-end product lifecycles, and partnering with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions.

You will oversee cross-functional teams, leverage AI in product development, and shape strategies that improve data processes, attribution, and performance measurement

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • 8+ years of overall experience.
  • Deep subject matter knowledge in data management and exposure to performance measurement, attribution, related processes and use cases in investment operations.
  • Experience in product management, product ownership, business analysis, platform delivery, or business transformation within financial services.
  • Demonstrated ability to define business requirements, manage competing priorities, and translate strategic objectives into clear execution plans.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build alignment across business, technology, operations, risk, and compliance partners.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex processes and organizational structures.
  • Experience working in agile delivery environments and leading or coordinating cross-functional teams.
  • Preferred experience in performance measurement and attribution at an asset manager or asset owner.
  • Experience working with and leveraging AI in product development
  • Preferred experience working with business process design, operational workflows, controls, and data dependencies in a complex environment

We’re seeking a future team member for the role of SVP. Product Management (Data) to join our Asset Owner team. This role is located in Boston, MA, NYC, NY. or Lake Mary, FL.

Responsibilities
  • Set the product vision for the data and channel distribution supporting our Performance & Compliance solutions, ensuring that we continue to build and deliver a market-leading capability to support our Asset Owner and Asset Manager clients.
  • Lead a cross-functional pod comprised of partners across business, technology, and operations to execute on the product vision supporting all product development efforts and channels:
    • Define target-state data capabilities, workflows, and business processes to improve scalability, transparency, and efficiency.
    • Gather, document, and refine business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to support solution design and agile delivery.
    • Drive execution across the end-to-end product lifecycle, including discovery, prioritization, design, testing, implementation, and ongoing enhancement.

Base salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
