Job summary

TalentOla is seeking a Senior Vice President – Manufacturing to lead the growth and expansion of its North America Manufacturing business, with the leader based in the Midwest. This is a senior executive role responsible for business growth, P&L, strategic client relationships, new-logo acquisition, large transformation deals and expansion of the Manufacturing portfolio across North America.

Qualifications

  • 18+ years of overall experience in IT services, consulting, technology or digital transformation.
  • 12+ years of experience within the Manufacturing industry/vertical.
  • Experience leading a North America Manufacturing business, practice, portfolio or P&L.
  • Proven track record of generating revenue growth and acquiring new Manufacturing clients.
  • Experience managing or influencing a $100M+ business or portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Own the North America Manufacturing business strategy, revenue growth, bookings, profitability and P&L.
  • Develop and execute a multi-year strategy to expand Manufacturing market presence across the US and Canada.
  • Build a balanced growth portfolio spanning new logos, strategic accounts, large transformation programs and managed services.
  • Identify market opportunities, whitespace accounts and emerging Manufacturing segments.
  • Establish and track revenue, margin, pipeline and growth objectives.
  • Drive new-logo acquisition across North American Manufacturing enterprises.
  • Build and maintain relationships with C-suite executives, CIOs, CTOs, COOs, Chief Digital Officers, Chief Supply Chain Officers and business leaders.
  • Lead complex, multi-tower and multi-year transformation pursuits.
  • Originate and close high-value strategic deals across consulting, technology, engineering and managed services.
  • Expand relationships within existing strategic accounts through cross-sell and up-sell opportunities.
  • Build a strong executive-level pipeline across North America.
  • Own the strategic positioning around Industry 4.0, AI-led transformation, SAP/ERP modernization, cloud transformation and digital manufacturing.

Position Overview

A leading global IT services and digital transformation organization is seeking a Senior Vice President – Manufacturing to lead the growth and expansion of its North America Manufacturing business, with the leader based in the Midwest.

This is a senior executive leadership role responsible for business growth, P&L, strategic client relationships, new-logo acquisition, large transformation deals and expansion of the Manufacturing portfolio across North America.

The leader will engage with C-suite executives across major manufacturing enterprises and shape transformation agendas spanning AI, Generative AI, Industry 4.0, Smart Manufacturing, Digital Engineering, Cloud, Data & Analytics, SAP/ERP, MES, IoT, Supply Chain, Automation and Managed Services.

The ideal candidate will combine deep Manufacturing industry expertise with a proven track record in North American sales, P&L leadership, strategic account management and large-scale technology transformation.

Key Responsibilities

Executive Client Engagement
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior executives across North American Manufacturing organizations.
  • Develop executive relationships and strategic account plans with Fortune 500 and Global 2000 manufacturers.
  • Understand client business priorities and translate them into technology-led transformation opportunities.
  • Create long-term client partnerships rather than transactional sales relationships.
  • Represent the organization at industry conferences, executive forums and Manufacturing leadership events.
  • Collaborate with consulting, technology, engineering, AI, cloud, data and delivery teams to develop differentiated Manufacturing solutions.
  • Create industry-specific propositions addressing productivity, cost optimization, quality, resilience, sustainability and time-to-market.
  • Drive business-outcome-based selling and transformation-led engagements.
  • Leverage hyperscaler, technology and strategic ecosystem partnerships to strengthen market propositions.
Leadership & Organization Building
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing North America Manufacturing sales and client leadership organization.
  • Develop industry sales leaders, client partners and specialist teams.
  • Drive collaboration across sales, consulting, delivery, engineering and technology organizations.
  • Build a culture of accountability, innovation, client-centricity and profitable growth.
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • 18+ years of overall experience, with significant experience in IT services, consulting, technology or digital transformation.
  • 12+ years of experience within the Manufacturing industry/vertical.
  • Proven experience leading a North America Manufacturing business, practice, portfolio or P&L.
  • Demonstrated success in generating significant revenue growth and acquiring new Manufacturing clients.
  • Experience managing or influencing a $100M+ business or portfolio strongly preferred.
  • Strong track record of closing large, complex and multi-year transformation deals.
  • Established relationships with C-suite executives across North American Manufacturing.
  • Deep understanding of Manufacturing business processes and technology transformation.
  • Strong commercial and P&L management experience.
  • Ability to operate across sales, consulting, technology, engineering and delivery.
  • Excellent executive presence, negotiation and communication skills.
