Our client, a leading manufacturer in the aerospace sector, is seeking a Senior Vice President, Global Sales, Marketing & Business Development to lead their high-performing global commercial team. This role is a unique opportunity to shape the growth strategy for a $2B+ division, driving sales in excess of $1B annually while expanding the business into new markets and geographies.

The Opportunity

As SVP of Global Sales, Marketing & Business Development, you will:

  • Lead a global team of Sales, Marketing, and Business Development professionals, delivering top-line growth across airline and leasing company customers.
  • Develop and execute strategic business plans, sales strategies, and marketing initiatives to drive both organic and inorganic growth.
  • Set and achieve ambitious annual sales targets for program and transactional work, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Provide critical input to company SIOP and operational planning processes, leveraging account planning to drive cross-functional alignment.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives across customer-facing processes, enhancing reputation and customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee succession planning and talent development across your organization to build strong, resilient teams.
  • Implement equitable and motivating sales compensation programs that align with ethical standards and commercial objectives.
  • Manage budgets, workforce planning, and key business metrics to support sustainable growth.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven Leadership: 15+ years in Sales, Marketing, Business Development, or Commercial leadership roles, with a record of managing large, complex deals.
  • Industry Expertise: Deep knowledge of the airline industry, commercial aviation, and associated procurement practices.
  • Global Network: Established relationships with international airlines, leasing companies, and other relevant partners.
  • Commercial Acumen: Strong negotiation, decision-making, and customer relationship skills.
  • Education: University degree in business administration, commerce, engineering, or equivalent.
  • Personal Integrity: Highest ethical standards and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
