Qualifications

What You’ll Do

Eaton is seeking a Senior Vice President and General Manager (SVP-GM) for its Residential and Wiring Devices (RWD) Division. Reporting to the President – Assemblies and Residential Solutions (ARS) Group, the SVP-GM– RWD Division will be responsible for leading a $1.4B P&L. This role will have direct oversight of the RWD Division strategic plan for manufacturing, business development, sales performance, market development, product development, and customer management. This leader will be a highly visible and critical champion in driving organic growth in the base business as well as in the digital and energy transition space.

The SVP‑GM will develop and execute initiatives to drive top line revenue growth and profitability. This role will require a thought leader who will provide key observations and ideas, as well as be an outspoken advocate in identifying both risk and opportunities for the organization. The SVP‑GM will be a member of the senior leadership team for the ARS Group and will partner closely with both direct and matrixed leadership teams to ensure that financial and growth objectives are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Hold full P&L oversight across eight manufacturing sites, across configured-to-order and built-to-stock value streams, leading an organization of 5800+ across manufacturing, operations, Finance, HR, Engineering and Marketing
• Achieves or exceeds profit plans by developing and executing strategies for manufacturing profit improvement, effective launch of new products and programs, and managing the budget to ensure that operational and financial goals are met or exceeded.
• Leads strategic alliances and partnerships internally and with external organizations to support aggressive market development and growth. This includes North American electrical distribution channel, manufacturing rep organizations, national home builders and national retail exec relationships.
• Lead front end negotiations of agreements with strategic partnerships and key customers with a focus on new business solutions.
• Leverage regional teams to ensure that product, market-based and customer strategies are driven across the division and product line segments.
• Build and leads the manufacturing strategy to ensure the business remains positioned for growth. This includes footprint expansion and manufacturing capacity.
• Builds organizational capability and morale within the team by developing both internal talent and attracting external talent to the organization to drive the desired culture.
• Stays informed of market and customer trends in order to anticipate developments and drive action plans accordingly.
• Identify and develop possibilities for future business growth, including possible acquisitions. Drive a culture proactively focused on Environmental, Health and Safety, driving towards zero-incident safety culture mindset and drive Eaton’s 2030 environmental objectives.
• Champion a disciplined approach to projects and programs by integrating top-tier business tools such as the Eaton Business System (EBS), Six Sigma, Eaton Lean System, and PROLaunch.

Qualifications

Eaton is seeking an exceptionally talented and dynamic P&L executive with excellent leadership skills, and a proven and successful demonstrated track record of growing and transforming businesses in the face of ever-changing market conditions. This leader will be a passionate visionary with growth, technology, commercial, front-end/engineering and operations capabilities, along with an effective interpersonal style and “hands- on” approach, enabling them to interact efficiently across multiple plants and locations as well as with global support partners.

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, finance, or related discipline is required, Masters/MBA Preferred.
• Minimum 10+ years of experience as aleader of leaders in a multi-national, multi-channel, matrixed manufacturing organization of similar scope/scale role

The expected annual salary range for this role is $242,000 - 355,000/ year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.
