Placements24 is seeking an experienced Senior VFX Supervisor to lead a world-class team in Welkom, Free State. You will guide projects from concept to final delivery, collaborating closely with directors, producers, and clients to realise a compelling visual narrative.

The role demands strong artistic judgment, deep VFX pipeline knowledge, and proven leadership in supervising large-scale effects for major productions. On-site facility and a premium benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years in visual effects with supervisory roles.
• Proven track record on major feature films and/or high-end TV.
• Strong understanding of all VFX pipeline stages and tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple high-profile VFX projects end-to-end.
• Define creative vision and technical requirements with directors and producers.
• Provide artistic and technical guidance to the VFX team.
• Develop innovative VFX solutions to hit budget and schedule.
• Oversee on-set supervision where required.
• Ensure seamless integration of CGI, compositing with live-action footage.
• Manage timelines, resources and budgets for on-time delivery.
• Review shots for quality and creative alignment.
