Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent veterinary degree with eligibility for state veterinary licensure.
• Board Certification in Surgery (DACVS-SA) or residency trained in small animal surgery.
• Strong communication skills with a compassionate, client-centered approach.
• Collaborative mindset and commitment to exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform a broad range of orthopedic and soft tissue surgical procedures.
• Lead consultations, advanced diagnostic workups, and complex surgical cases.
• Collaborate with Internal Medicine, Radiation Oncology, and Emergency & Critical Care for integrated plans.
• Utilize MRI, CT, and other imaging to guide surgical planning and outcomes.
• Mentor technicians, interns, and support staff, promoting teamwork and learning.
• Contribute to hospital initiatives, process improvements, and growth of the surgical service.
