Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a practicing veterinarian.
• Valid license to practice veterinary medicine.
• Proficient in all aspects of veterinary care, including diagnosis, treatment, and surgery.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex medical conditions and treatments to pet owners.
• Compassionate and empathetic approach to animal care.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle stressful situations and make decisions under pressure.
• Willingness to continue learning and improving veterinary skills.
• Physical stamina to handle the demands of working with animals, including the ability to lift heavy pets and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive physical examinations and diagnostic tests on animals to determine their health status and identify illnesses or injuries.
• Prescribe and administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as necessary.
• Perform surgical procedures on animals, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.
• Provide emergency care to animals as needed.
• Educate pet owners on proper care, including diet, hygiene, and disease prevention.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients.
• Collaborate with other veterinary professionals to provide the best possible care for patients.
• Stay current on advancements in veterinary medicine and integrate them into practice.
