Job summary

UrgentVet Moore is seeking a Full-Time Senior Veterinary Assistant to provide outstanding patient care, lead a small team, and deliver excellent client service in a fast-paced urgent care clinic.

Ideal candidates will have animal-handling experience, clinical skills, and a flexible schedule to cover evenings, weekends, and holidays; travel for on-site training may be required. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including health care, 401k, PTO, parental leave, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates professionalism, dependability, healthy and positive communication skills, and the ability to multi-task in a hands-on environment.
• Energetic people-and-pet person with excellent work ethic and social and organizational skills.
• Willing to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Full-time employees may be required to travel for on-site training and onboarding.
• Prior customer service experience.
• Prior experience working with animals in a hospital setting.
• Must be able to lift 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding patient care in a fast-paced urgent care setting.
• Assist with team leadership and client service.
• Handle animal handling tasks including restraints and sample collection.
• Support training and onboarding of new staff.
• Lift up to 40 lbs and maintain clean, paperless clinic area.
