Job summary

UrgentVet, Inc in Westford is seeking a Full-Time Senior Veterinary Assistant to deliver outstanding patient care, lead a team, and provide excellent client service in a fast-paced urgent care clinic.

The ideal candidate will have animal handling experience, clinical skills such as phlebotomy and catheter placement, and the ability to multi-task in a busy hospital setting. This on-site role requires lifting up to 40 lbs and may include flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Animal handling experience including patient restraint, sample collection, and monitoring.
• Clinical skills including phlebotomy, catheter placement, laboratory analysis, and drug calculation.
• Additional duties including facility maintenance and client education.
