Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent veterinary degree required.
• Board certification in anesthesiology or completed residency training in veterinary anesthesiology.
• Strong clinical skills and interest in complex anesthesia and perioperative care.
• Excellent communication with clients and a collaborative team player.
• Commitment to teaching and advancing specialty medicine.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced anesthesia care for complex specialty, emergency, surgical, and interventional cases.
• Collaborate with surgery, internal medicine, cardiology, critical care, radiology, oncology, neurology, and emergency teams.
• Support procedures with ARISE’s diagnostic and interventional capabilities (CT, MRI, endoscopy, ultrasound, C‑arm).
• Contribute to teaching by working with residents, interns, and veterinary students.
• Partner with veterinarians, technicians, and staff to ensure compassionate patient care.
• Foster mentorship, knowledge-sharing, and continuous learning within the team.
• Communicate clearly and empathetically with pet owners during stressful situations.
