Job description

A gorgeous, privately owned hospital in Narrowsburg, NY, is hiring a compassionate, experienced Veterinarian to join their team.

This picturesque, family-owned veterinary hospital is home to a friendly and experienced team who are passionate about providing high-quality veterinary medicine to the community. This opportunity offers both meaningful medicine and a chance to connect with pets and their families.

You’ll be part of a close-knit team led by an experienced practitioner, offering “concierge-style” care to cats and dogs in a welcoming, calm environment. The clinic prides itself on long appointment times of at least 30 minutes, allowing for thoughtful, thorough diagnostics utilizing the latest technology and equipment.

This is a full-service general practice hospital that sees a diverse range of cases. You must be comfortable performing routine surgery, dentistry, and wellness care. There is an opportunity in the future for you to gain equity and ultimately ownership of the hospital, should you wish.

Seeking a better work/life balance? The clinic can be flexible with the schedule you’re looking for, ideally full-time hours working 4 days per week and occasional half-day Saturdays on rotation, but open to discussing a schedule that would work for you.

The building is well-appointed, organized, and designed to put both pets and owners at ease. The team includes several certified veterinary technicians and assistants, ensuring you can focus on providing high-quality veterinary medicine. The practice has also been recognized locally, recently being voted “Best Veterinarian Clinic 2025” in the area.
