Job summary

UrgentVet in Frisco is seeking a Senior Veterinary Assistant to join our on-site urgent care team. The role focuses on outstanding patient care, team leadership, and client service in a fast-paced clinic equipped with modern EMR and in-house IDEXX lab equipment.

Ideal candidates will have animal handling experience, be able to lift 40 lbs, and work flexible hours including evenings and weekends. Full-time staff may travel for on-site training.

Qualifications

• Animal handling experience including patient restraint, sample collection, and monitoring.
• Clinical skills including phlebotomy, catheter placement, laboratory analysis, and drug calculation.
• Additional duties including facility maintenance and client education.

• Provide compassionate patient care in a fast-paced urgent-care setting.
• Support clinicians with procedures, sample collection, and monitoring.
• Assist in maintaining a clean, organized clinical environment and educate clients.
