Job summary

Intuit Dome in Inglewood, CA seeks an experienced Associate General Counsel, Venues to provide day-to-day strategic legal support for venue operations at Intuit Dome and Kia Forum. You will negotiate and draft complex commercial contracts, review licenses and permits, and advise on risk management.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in private practice or in-house in hospitality, sports or entertainment, is licensed in California, and can lead cross-functional initiatives with finance, HR, and

Qualifications

• J.D. from accredited law school with California bar in good standing.
• Minimum 5 years experience negotiating and drafting sophisticated transactions.
• Excellent organizational and judgment skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lead projects and collaborate with executives.
• Experience in food/beverage/hospitality industry a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle a wide variety of commercial contracts incl. vendor services and licenses.
• Manage arena event licenses and insurance requirements.
• Assist with licensure, permitting, and compliance with venues.
• Draft documents, identify issues, and provide clear recommendations.
• Collaborate with insurers and outside counsel on litigation matters.
• Assist with collective bargaining and interpretation of CBAs.
• Partner with HR on personnel matters.
• Maintain a contract management system.
• Collaborate with Finance, Sales, Construction, Risk Mgmt on contract questions.
• Provide other general legal support.
