Job summary

Centene Corp. is seeking a senior Vendor Relations Manager to oversee vendor intake, evaluation, contracting, and performance. You will guide cross-functional teams, lead negotiations of RFI/RFP/SOW, and ensure compliance with health plan policies. A strong focus on engagement and operational excellence will be central to success.

You will manage a team of Vendor Relations Managers, drive onboarding of new partners, and maintain robust vendor performance reporting within the healthcare space.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business/public administration or related field; 5+ years in healthcare management.
• Experience with reporting and analyzing data; strong Excel skills and data programs.
• Project management experience preferred; CTTPR certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage vendor intake, evaluation, contracting, and performance oversight.
• Lead vendor meetings, document actions, and monitor item completion.
• Negotiate contracts and draft RFI/RFP/SOW and redlines for terms.
• Oversee onboarding of new vendors and ensure contractual compliance.
• Monitor vendor performance and reporting; manage vendor relationships.
• Lead and develop a team of Vendor Relations Managers.
