Job summary

Frontier Airlines is seeking a Maintenance Inspector (Class II Station) to provide oversight of safety and compliance, perform required inspections, and ensure airworthiness across outsourced maintenance activities. The role requires a current US Mechanic Certificate (airframe and powerplant) with several years of experience and RI I authorization.

Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills, solid computer proficiency (Excel/Word/Adobe), and the ability to coordinate with Maintenance

Qualifications

• Current Mechanic Certificate with both airframe and powerplant ratings, held for at least five years.
• Three years of maintenance experience on different types of large airplanes with 10 or more passenger seats with an air carrier or certificated repair station, one year of which must have been as maintenance inspector.
• Preferred – at least 1 year of prior experience in a supervisory capacity maintaining same the category and class of aircraft as Frontier Airlines fleet.
• Requires the ability to obtain, hold, and maintain Required Inspection Item (RII) authorization and Airworthiness release/return to service.

Responsibilities

• Provide constant oversight for safety and compliance related issues at the Class II Station.
• Perform maintenance inspection on aircraft as required, including borescope inspections and NDT Level 1 inspections.
• Audit and monitor the aircraft maintenance and inspection functions to ensure airworthiness of Frontier aircraft on outsourced activities.
• Approve return to service of maintenance, preventive maintenance, and alterations.
• Monitor AOG reports and liaise with MCC for material availability.
