Job summary

Cox Enterprises is seeking a Senior Vehicle Operations Logistics Specialist in California to facilitate the transport of customer vehicles to Manheim auction sites and other regional locations. You will build relationships with the Manheim team, manage multiple email accounts, and enter orders in AS400.

The role requires strong Excel/Outlook/Word skills, 1–3 years of admin experience, and a keen eye for data accuracy and urgency in a fast-paced hybrid environment.

Responsibilities

• Build relationship with Manheim Auction commercial team and management.
• Show proficiency with communication via recorded line phone system.
• Manage email boxes for multiple locations and collaborate on regional emails.
• Entry of all manual orders and processing of other AS400 system orders.
• Manage escalated Client Success VINs with carriers and agents.
• Monitor holds and verification delays.
• Dispatch negotiation and a strong understanding of sales tactics to increase margin.
• Action AutoIMS for Trans Delay Holds, Cancellations, ETA's.
• Follow up with carriers on VINs daily.
• Process Fees and post assessorial charges to record.
• Request Hold Harmless/Releases.
• Investigate kickbacks of VINs by carriers to re-dispatch units.
• Hold carriers accountable to their plan.
• Create and manage corrective action of a vendor.
• Monitor order entry failures and correct.
• Measure analytics and report performance to executives.
• Compile vehicle transportation data and generate reports.
• Follow all job-related duties as directed by supervisor.
• Be an outside the box thinker who can solve problems quickly.
• Work in hybrid environment to deliver results.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage escalated Client Succes VINs with carriers and agents
• Monitor holds and verification delays

• Action AutoIMS for Trans Delay Holds, Cancellations, ETA's
• Following Up with carriers on several VINs daily
• Process Fees and post assessorial charges to record

USD 20.10 - 30.10 per hour

Compensation

Hourly pay rate is in the range of $20.10 - $30.10/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.

Benefits

Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
