Qualifications

• Must have significant experience in bridge and roadway construction inspection.
• Certifications or ability to obtain: VDOT Hydraulic Cement Concrete Field, Soils and Aggregate, Asphalt Field Levels I & II.
• High school diploma or GED and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and inspect all facets of bridge replacement activities and roadway construction.
• Prepare and maintain daily inspection reports and site diaries.
• Coordinate with contractors, project managers, and engineers to address field issues.
• Lead or participate in progress meetings and safety briefings.
• Review and verify completed work for accuracy and prepare progress reports.
