Job summary

EPI Power, LLC, a licensed electrical contractor and subsidiary of The Weitz Company, specializes in data centers in McLean, Virginia. The VDC team collaborates with preconstruction and field operations to create BIM/DFMA drawings, perform quantity takeoffs, and develop 3D/4D models for planning and coordination.

The role requires 5+ years in construction with VDC support, NEC knowledge, and data center experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years in a construction role supporting VDC required.
• Knowledge of NEC code.
• LEAN principles experience is desirable.
• Data center experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Electrical Shop, DFI, and DFMA drawings.
• Provide quantity takeoff, BOMs and schedules from BIM/3D models.
• Create streamlined workflows with preconstruction and field teams.
• Lead clash resolution and coordination meetings through to completion.
• Provide onsite project engineering for BIM projects and oversee field installation monitoring.
