Job summary

Alumni Ventures is seeking a Senior Account Executive, Investment Sales to turn prospective investors into first-time AV investors and build long-term relationships. Reporting to the EVP of Nurture Marketing, you will own conversations from qualification to close and tailor discussions to each investor’s goals with flexible, solution-based defense of AV offerings.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of closing sales experience, preferably in financial services or investment products.
• Strong verbal communication and relationship-building skills for high-trust conversations.
• Ability to diagnose client needs and adapt in real time to motivations and investment levels.
• Experience using a CRM to document calls, outcomes, and follow-ups.

Responsibilities

• Own inbound and warm prospect calls end to end, from qualification through close.
• Prioritize zero-to-one conversion and establish a foundation for long-term relations.
• Identify prospect motivations and adapt your approach in real time.
• Match investor needs to AV offerings and communicate the opportunity clearly.
• Listen for signals and objections, guiding informed decisions.
• Document call outcomes and next steps in HubSpot and advance leads.
