Job summary

The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a Program Manager to serve as the primary interface with DEAN, the COR, and VA leadership in Washington, DC. The role encompasses overall management, staffing, and performance of programs supporting DEAN’s mission and VHA initiatives.

Responsibilities include leading across projects, ensuring milestones and deliverables, and coordinating with senior stakeholders to drive data-driven decisions and organizational change.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree plus 15 years of relevant experience.
• 10 years of relevant professional experience supporting the requirements of the task order.
• PMP certification is required.
• Six (6) years of experience supporting a large corporation or government agency.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall program management and leadership across all projects and activities performed under the task order.
• Plan, initiate, manage, execute, monitor, and close out programs and projects to support an integrated healthcare system.
• Ensure successful execution of task order requirements, deliverables, milestones, schedules, and performance objectives.
• Manage contractor staffing, including workforce planning, resource allocation, performance oversight, and coordination of personnel.
• Establish and maintain effective program management processes, standards, procedures, and performance measures.
• Coordinate multiple projects and stakeholders to align with VA and VHA priorities.
• Provide timely status updates, program assessments, risks, issues, recommendations, and performance information.
