Job summary

Credence is seeking a Principal Solutions Architect to lead the technical architecture for VA IT modernization programs. This role involves partnering with VA stakeholders, developing proof-of-concept solutions, and providing technical mentorship. Candidates should have over ten years of technical experience, with strong AI/ML, Cloud, and DevSecOps knowledge. This position offers a salary between $180,000 and $220,000 and various employee benefits including healthcare, retirement plans, and paid time off.

Qualifications

Citizenship: US Citizen with the ability to obtain a successful Federal Background Investigation.
Minimum ten years of hands-on technical experience.
Direct experience using AI/ML in production systems.
Prior experience working at the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).
Experience architecting at enterprise scale ($100M+ programs).
Deep experience in secure cloud architecture and federal cybersecurity controls.

Responsibilities

Own architecture for VA IT programs: reference architectures, integration patterns, platform decisions.
Write proof-of-concept code and hands-on prototypes.
Represent Credence technically to VA stakeholders.
Contribute to capture strategy for VA opportunities.
Provide architectural guidance and technical mentorship.
