Job summary

Accuray Incorporated in Madison, WI is seeking a Senior Verification and Validation Engineer (V&V) to ensure our medical device products are safe, effective, and compliant through risk-based testing and rigorous DHF deliverables.

You will collaborate with Systems, Software, Hardware, Regulatory, and Manufacturing teams, design and execute tests, investigate anomalies, and contribute to product releases in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physical Sciences, or a related technical field.
3–5 years of testing, verification, or systems engineering experience.
Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities for hardware, software, and networks.
Excellent written and verbal communication, with ability to work cross‑functionally.

Responsibilities

Review requirements and risk analysis to develop verification and validation strategies.
Support project planning, estimation, and execution with engineering teams to improve quality and release readiness.
Design, document, and maintain verification, validation, and regression test cases aligned to requirements.
Execute testing across software, hardware, networking, and system environments and document evidence for DHF deliverables.
Identify, reproduce, investigate, and track anomalies; support root‑cause analysis and resolution.
