Job summary

Textron is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician for the V-22 at Naval Station Norfolk, VA. This on-site role requires travel to domestic and international locations for maintenance operations, including potential deployments and minimal notice missions aboard sea and ashore.

You will diagnose aircraft systems, perform repairs on CMV-22, and ensure safety standards, with work guided by IETMs/TEIs and clear communication with military customers; U.S.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain and maintain DoD security clearance.
• Experience with IETMs/TEIs and precision measuring tools.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose issues with aircraft systems, install components, inspect and evaluate damage, and perform repairs on the CMV-22.
• Analyze tasks, identify logistics for repairs, and schedule timelines for completion.
• Ensure safety standards and PPE use while maintaining efficiency on projects.
• Provide maintenance at Organizational and Intermediate levels and conduct heavy maintenance on aircraft structures and subsystems.
• Collaborate with military/government customers and provide weekly status reports.
