Job summary

Tsunami Tsolutions is seeking a Staff UX/UI Application Developer to design and enhance customer-facing software for aerospace programs. This role combines user-centered design with practical development knowledge to create intuitive interfaces aligned with technical requirements.

The ideal candidate collaborates with cross-functional teams, translates user needs into design solutions, and documents specifications to support development and testing.

Qualifications

• Experience in UX/UI design and front-end app development.
• Ability to create wireframes, prototypes, and design docs.
• Experience with usability testing and applying user feedback.
• Familiar with Jira and Agile practices.
• Experience supporting testing, documentation, or training.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to learn complex products and workflows.
• Must be a U.S. Person or authorized for ITAR data.

Responsibilities

• Research user needs, workflows, and system architecture to inform application design decisions.
• Create wireframes, user flows, mockups, and interactive prototypes for new features and application enhancements.
• Design layouts, navigation, and interactive elements that are intuitive, visually engaging, and consistent.
• Plan usability testing, gather feedback, and refine designs based on findings.
• Partner and communicate with product owners, developers, SMEs, customers, and stakeholders to align design concepts with requirements.
• Develop clear functional specifications and design documentation to support development, testing, training, and maintenance.
• Learn and document the history, processes, training needs, and functional requirements of the products.
• Participate in quality and continuous-improvement initiatives and adhere to workflows.
