Job summary

Nightwing is seeking a UX Expert to ensure interfaces maximize user productivity while minimizing training needs. The role applies user-centered design throughout the lifecycle, conducting research, creating designs, and validating solutions through continuous testing and feedback.

The UX Analyst bridges technical capabilities with user needs to deliver intuitive interfaces for operators in offensive cyber operations, requiring TS/SCI clearance and U.S. citizenship.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of UX/UI design experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Design, Psychology, or related field (or equivalent).
• Demonstrated experience conducting user research in classified environments.
• Proficiency with design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar).
• Experience creating wireframes, prototypes, and design specifications.
• Strong understanding of accessibility standards and responsive design.
• Background in offensive cyber operations or related mission areas.
• Portfolio demonstrating user-centered design process and outcomes.
• Active TS/SCI clearance.
• Must be U.S. citizen.

Responsibilities

• Conduct user research through interviews, surveys, and observational studies
• Develop user personas, journey maps, and workflow analyses
• Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes
• Design intuitive information architecture aligned with user mental models
• Conduct usability testing with representative end users
• Develop and maintain design systems with reusable components
• Produce quarterly UI/UX reports with actionable recommendations
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure proper design implementation
• Gather and analyze user feedback from all deployment environments
• Support SAFe ceremonies with user experience insights
