Job summary

Google is seeking a UX Engineer to bridge design and engineering, creating prototypes and tools that advance product experiences. You will collaborate with researchers and designers, translate concepts into living prototypes, and iterate on interactions and animations to deliver seamless user experiences across platforms.

You will also work with engineers to refine production apps and contribute to libraries, while using user insights to drive feature development and high-quality execution.

UX Engineers also collaborate with our software engineering team to refine experiences in our production apps when necessary.

The Platforms and Devices team encompasses Google's various computing software platforms across environments (desktop, mobile, applications), as well as our first party devices and services that combine the best of Google AI, software, and hardware. Teams across this area research, design, and develop new technologies to make our user's interaction with computing faster and more seamless, building innovative experiences for our users around the world.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $159000 - $230000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits
