Job summary

TEKsystems Global Services/One North is seeking an experienced UX Designer for a long-term contract. The role focuses on designing workflow-friendly interfaces, data visualizations, and collaborating with developers to implement high-quality user experiences.

You will work across departments to ensure consistency and advocate for users. Minimum 8+ years of UX experience, strong visual design, and proficiency with prototyping tools are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Factors, Instructional Design or Computer Science preferred, or related work experience.
• 8+ years of experience applying UX principles to visual and interaction design.
• Proficient in responsive design, data visualization, and interaction design.
• Proficient with rapid prototyping tools such as InVision, Sketch, Balsamiq.
• Strong visual design with typography, layout and color theory.
• Ability to multi-task across large, complex projects.
• Attention to detail and ability to adapt with feedback and direction.
• Familiar with UX research methodologies and HTML/CSS/JavaScript.

Responsibilities

• Design application interfaces with a focus on workflow, integration, user interaction, and data visualization.
• Collaborate with developers to translate designs into user experiences.
• Establish and maintain relationships across departments and business areas.
• Participate in walkthroughs to ensure design quality and consistency.
• Own self-development and stay current with UX techniques and tools.
• Communicate clearly with leadership and stakeholders, advocating for users.
