Job summary

Zynga Inc is seeking a Senior UX/UI Designer for the Zynga Poker team to shape end-to-end experiences for a live, real-time game played by millions. You will craft flows, wireframes, prototypes, and documentation, while collaborating across product, design, and art to maintain a trustful and delightful user experience.

The role emphasizes usability, engagement, and the ability to communicate complex ideas to diverse audiences, with a strong focus on prototyping and usability testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HCI, Design, Graphic Design, Industrial Design, or related area.
• 5+ years of experience in the game development industry specializing in UX/UI, having worked on 3+ different game titles.
• A portfolio with relevant industry/personal work.
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced setting and rapidly develop new skills.
• Ability to present complex ideas to diverse audiences and articulate a convincing point of view.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing.
• Ability to utilize AI tools as they evolve.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and complete work with minimal oversight.
• Interest in leveling up personal, interpersonal, and craft skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product and design teams to conceptualize, define, and develop features for live, social, real-time games.
• Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and design documentation.
• Define problems, research, analyze, design, and validate results in the design process.
• Collaborate with art team to define and adhere to a thematic art style.
• Design functional animation for user interactions.
• Plan and moderate user testing.
• Conduct market competitor research and deconstructs.
• Conduct heuristic evaluations of internal and external products.
• Partner with engineers to ensure designs work in the game engine.
