Job description

Location: Anywhere in Canada (home-based)

Understanding their needs is crucial, and UX Design plays a vital role. As a member of the Open Applications UX team, you will leverage your expertise to enhance usability for new and existing digital-twin workflows. Your work will support infrastructure Project Managers, Engineers, and Architects globally, contributing to engaging experiences between our desktop engineering software and our web-based analytical platforms.

In your role, you will:

• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements and manage scope in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
• Participate in user research activities.
• Translate research findings into actionable insights and design improvements.
• Ensure consistency with our design system and contribute to its development.

We expect you to have:

• A professional portfolio showcasing problem-solving skills.
• Experience with CAD and engineering analysis/design software.
• Proficiency in Figma and high-fidelity prototyping.
• Strong visual design skills with attention to detail.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

Additional points for:

• Familiarity with desktop software design guidelines.
• Degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, User Experience, or related fields.
• Relevant certifications such as NN/g.
• Knowledge of infrastructure sector.
