Job summary

SodexoMagic is seeking a Senior Utility Worker at Grambling State University to support kitchen operations and lead front-line staff. You will maintain and clean kitchen areas, wash dishes, mop floors and transfer supplies as needed, while ensuring timely shifts and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and clean kitchen work areas, equipment and utensils.
  • Wash dishes by hand or in a machine and polish silverware.
  • Sweep, mop, and clean floor, and remove garbage to designated areas.
  • Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators and meat blocks.
  • Transfers supplies and equipment within and between storage and work areas such as pantry and dish room.
  • Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity.
  • Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
