Job summary

Sodexo in USA Aiken is seeking a Senior Utility Worker to lead a small team, direct day-to-day utensils and kitchen areas, and ensure clean, safe workspaces across the unit. You will guide peers within your scope and help deliver client solutions that support operations.

The role offers full-time hours with varying shifts, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for training and advancement. Pay ranges from $7.25 to $23.44 per hour depending on site and experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean kitchen work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Wash dishes/pots by hand or in a machine and polish silverware
• Sweep, mop, and clean floor, and remove garbage to designated areas.
• Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators and meat blocks
• Transfers supplies and equipment within and between storage and work areas such as pantry and dish room.
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.

What You’ll Do:

As a Senior Utility Worker at Sodexo, you are a team unifier and solutions driver. Your dedication to team needs and client solutions will make an everyday impact for your colleagues and our customers. You will be responsible for maintaining a variety of kitchen work areas, equipment and utensils. You will act as the senior person, providing direction to employees within your scope of responsibility.
