Blue Cypress Consulting, LLC in Seattle seeks a Senior Utility Management Services Consultant to lead complex projects in water, wastewater, and stormwater sectors. You will manage client engagements, mentor staff, and help expand our presence in the Pacific Northwest.

The role requires 8+ years in utility management/engineering consulting with strong leadership, communication, and business development skills, and willingness to travel regionally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related technical discipline
• Minimum 8 years as a management consultant in a Pacific Northwest A/E firm focusing on water, wastewater, or stormwater systems
• Advanced proficiency in infrastructure and asset management consulting services
• Strong project management with multiple concurrent projects and deadlines
• Established Pacific Northwest network, particularly Seattle metro area
• Proven ability to establish and grow a client base
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented with ability to multitask and manage complex projects
• Interest in local government and public agency utility management and asset management consulting
• Ability to travel regionally to utilities as needed

Responsabilités

• Provide specialized management consulting services across strategic planning, asset management, and data analytics
• Plan, design, and implement operations and maintenance optimization and capital planning strategies for utilities
• Lead analyses on large infrastructure datasets (GIS, CMMS, customer information systems)
• Perform on-site or off-site support for client staff
• Develop and implement analytics and dashboard platforms
• Manage concurrent projects, budgets, and resources; communicate progress to clients and internal teams
• Quality control reviews of deliverables
• Grow client relationships and participate in business development
