Job summary

An employee-owned engineering firm is seeking a Utility Locator III / Geophysical Specialist III in Pittsburgh or Akron–Canton. The ideal candidate should have 3–5+ years of utility locating experience and expertise in EM locating and GPR techniques. This role requires advanced utility locating and field management skills, a strong commitment to safety, and excellent communication abilities. Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of professional utility locating or subsurface utility engineering field experience.
• Demonstrated proficiency with EM locating, GPR, and related designation techniques.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to perform field work in varying conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced subsurface utility locating using electromagnetic, metal detection, and GPR techniques.
• Lead or execute concrete scanning and advanced GPR investigations.
• Prepare clear, accurate field notes and project deliverables.
