American Veterinary Group is seeking a Senior Veterinary Assistant for our UrgentVet - Gainesville location. This full-time role supports after-hours care in a fast-paced urgent care clinic with cloud EMR, digital x-ray, and IDEXX in-house lab equipment.

You will assist with patient care, animal handling, and client communication. The ideal candidate has veterinary experience, strong work ethic, and the ability to lead and educate staff in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Animal handling, restraint, sample collection, and monitoring.
• Phlebotomy and basic laboratory analysis.
• Strong client service skills and ability to educate pet owners.
