Our client seeks a Senior Scientist, Upstream MSAT to lead complex upstream technology transfers for viral vector pilot and GMP manufacturing campaigns. You will mentor junior scientists, drive process robustness, and act as the upstream subject matter expert during GMP manufacturing.

You will collaborate with Process Development, Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and clients to implement clinical and commercial processes, ensuring smooth campaign execution and continuous improvement across

Qualifications

• BS with 7+ years, MS with 3+ years, or PhD with 1–2 years in chemical engineering or biology.
• Experience supporting viral vector GMP manufacturing and tech transfer.
• Hands-on experience with upstream pilot equipment and cell culture.

Responsabilités

• Lead upstream technology transfer programs from handoff to GMP execution.
• Serve as the primary upstream SME for internal and client meetings.
• Develop and review tech transfer plans, risk assessments, fit-to-plant assessments, sample plans, process flow diagrams, and BOMs.
• Lead authoring and review of GMP protocols, technical reports, process summaries, investigations and CAPAs.
