Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Senior Upstream Processing Technician to support the manufacture of Commercial and Clinical Biologics. You will operate under cGMP standards, performing mammalian cell culture, aseptic operations, and large-scale bioreactor processes (50L–2000L).

This role requires strict adherence to procedures, meticulous documentation, and proactive problem solving. You will collaborate with QA and manufacturing teams to ensure right-first-time results while maintaining

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 2+ years of experience or a Bachelor's degree.
• Preferred experience in manufacturing, operations, production, lab setting or related field.
• Experience in a cGMP environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute manufacturing batch records, work instructions and SOPs, with focus on proactive ‘right the first time’ executions.
• Assist in maintaining suite, supplies, equipment, logbooks and data per site SOPs and policies.
• Document activities to meet cGMP requirements; conduct daily record reviews and participate in shift exchanges and lean activities.
• Support a quality investigation by answering questions and suggesting improvements.
• Promote safe work habits and adhere to safety procedures and guidelines.
• Critically evaluate processes, with foresight and proactive thinking.
• Prioritize tasks by production schedules and complete them accordingly.
