Qualifications

• Education: Associate degree in Electrical, Electronics, or a related technical field.
• Experience: At least 4 years of troubleshooting and repairing electrical/electronic equipment.
• Certifications: OSHA-10 Construction and NFPA-70E required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver preventative and remedial maintenance for UPS systems.
• Serve as a key technical resource for customers.
• Troubleshoot and repair power systems down to the board level.
• Inspect and document failed products and systems.
• Participate in on-call rotation for emergency support.
• Collaborate with colleagues to identify performance issues.
• Recommend service upgrades for equipment performance.
• Mentor less experienced technicians.
• Maintain accurate service logs and reports.
• Submit expense reports according to company policies.

Skills

Advanced knowledge of UPS systems and peripherals

Proficiency using electronic and mechanical test tools

Ability to read schematics and one-line facility drawings

Basic familiarity with communication and networking protocols

Advanced skills in Microsoft Office
