Job summary

Palm Beach Atlantic University in West Palm Beach, FL seeks a Senior University Counselor to provide student mental health services, crisis assessment, and short-term interventions. This full-time position requires a graduate degree and a Florida license in mental health counseling, with prior college experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work required.
• Florida license in Mental Health Counseling, Marriage & Family, or Social Work required.
• Florida Qualified Supervisor Status required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual counseling to university students.
• Deliver crisis assessment and short-term interventions.
• Coordinate preventative training and programming.
• Supervise counseling interns and practicum students.
• Support data reporting and assessment efforts.
• Maintain clinical notes and Navigate 360 alerts.
• Serve as lead clinician in service areas like crisis response.
