Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent plus at least seven years of relevant experience.
• Three years of claims or underwriting training experience preferred.
• Advanced degree or Industry Designations preferred.
• Excellent presentation and strong time management skills.
• Strong knowledge of ISO contract and FBMC contract and commitment to continuing education.
• A valid driver’s license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Records; some travel may be required.
• Ability to work in-person at West Des Moines, IA office.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, develop, and deliver technical training across Commercial, Personal Lines, and Agricultural Underwriting.
• Lead new hires through the training curriculum and communicate progress with leaders.
• Identify curriculum updates and revise with Instructional Designers.
• Design and develop training programs, including online courses and materials.
• Review training feedback and QA results; implement improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and best practices.
• Mentor team members and foster a collaborative culture.
• Analyze training effectiveness and QA outcomes.
