Job summary

Chubb is seeking a Specialty Underwriter for our Kansas City Branch. The ideal candidate will handle specialty products for private companies and non-profit organizations, focusing on growth of the Forefront business and other areas.

Qualifications

• Experience with Financial Lines products such as D&O, EPL, Fiduciary, Employed Lawyers, Crime, Kidnap & Ransom, and Workplace Violence.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite new and renewal business within the Financial Lines area, including risk analysis and program structure for complex cases.
• Maintain underwriting quality standards with proper documentation of decisions.
• Serve as the point person for Financial Lines presence in the Kansas City Branch and manage agency relationships.
• Collaborate with NBS, USB, Marketing Managers, and branch colleagues on opportunities.
• Use Tracker to drive new opportunities and lead development for Financial Lines.
• Participate in projects with Marketing and Home Office to drive field business.
• Support branch distribution and analyze the agency's Financial Lines book to set business goals.
• Educate agents on products, services, and underwriting standards; participate in education events.
