Everest Evolution is the Wholesale‑Exclusive arm of Everest, serving the dynamic and rapidly growing U.Evolution offers Property and Casualty insurance products through a dedicated wholesale distribution model, delivering specialized underwriting expertise and solutions across multiple business lines.

As a Senior Underwriter, Commercial Auto on our Wholesale Casualty team, you will build and manage a profitable E&S Commercial Auto portfolio across the Southeast Region. This position can be based in our Southeast regional office locations or remotely within the Southeast Region for highly qualified candidates.

• Underwrite new and renewal E&S Commercial Auto business, including fleet, public auto, contractor auto, transportation, and other complex vehicle‑related exposures.
• Evaluate risk exposures, pricing adequacy, terms, and coverage structures to achieve profitability goals.
• Identify new business opportunities and drive brand awareness for Everest Evolution.
• Collaborate closely with Claims, Actuarial, Operations, Product, and Distribution teams.
• 5-7+ years of commercial insurance underwriting experience.
• Strong expertise in Commercial Auto underwriting, preferably within the E&S or wholesale market.
• Experience underwriting transportation, contractor auto, trucking, specialty vehicle, or auto‑focused casualty risks.
• Experience with both primary casualty and auto liability products.
• CPCU, ASLI, AU, ARM, or similar insurance designations.
• Expertise in Commercial Auto risk assessment and pricing.
• Strong understanding of transportation and auto liability exposures.
• Ability to analyze portfolio performance and make data‑driven underwriting decisions.
• Self‑starter comfortable working remotely and managing territory responsibilities independently.
