Job summary

Sun Life in Hartford, CT seeks a Senior UiPath Developer to design, build, deploy, and support enterprise automations. This hands-on role requires delivering high‑quality solutions and applying engineering discipline across the full development lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years hands-on enterprise automation experience with strong UiPath expertise.
• Experience with UiPath Studio, Orchestrator, unattended automation, queues, assets, schedules, deployment, and bot support in enterprise environments.
• Experience applying best practices such as modular design, source control, peer reviews, reusable components, and robust exception handling.
• Familiarity with secure credential and privileged access patterns, including BeyondTrust or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support automation solutions using UiPath Studio and enterprise patterns (REFramework or equivalent).
• Translate process requirements into scalable automation with strong logging, exception handling, and maintainable code.
• Own quality across the delivery lifecycle including testing, deployment readiness, and production support.
• Work with UiPath Orchestrator capabilities (assets, queues, robots, triggers, schedules, monitoring).
• Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and application owners to deliver reliable automation solutions.
