Job summary

Vizgen seeks a versatile Senior UI/UX Software Engineer who bridges exceptional user experience design with production-ready, high-performance code. This hands-on role suits a design-minded engineer who owns the end-to-end UI lifecycle from research and design to pixel-perfect implementation and iterative improvement.

You'll translate UI/UX concepts into front-end components using ReactJS, TypeScript, Chakra-UI, and Material-UI, collaborate with engineers and product managers, conduct usability

Qualifications

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience as a UI Software Developer.
• Familiarity with cloud products leveraging AWS services (S3, EC2, DynamoDB, Lambda, Amplify, etc.).
• Strong command of git and CI/CD principles.
• Technical mindset with great attention to detail.
• High quality organizational and leadership skills.
• Outstanding communication and presentation abilities.
• Experience in a product development focused environment.

We are seeking a versatile Senior UI/UX Software Engineer who bridges the gap between exceptional user experience design and production-ready, high-performance code. This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer-designer hybrid who thrives in fast-paced product environments and can own the end-to-end UI lifecycle from user research and design to pixel-perfect implementation and iterative improvement.

Responsibilities

• Highly skilled in translating UI/UX design into popular front-end frameworks and libraries, such as Chakra-UI, Material-UI, NodeJS, and ReactJS
• 2+ years’ experience with TypeScript and integrating front-end components together
• Solid experience in UI design and user research, including usability testing, user interviews, and iterative design improvements.
• Daily user of UI/UX design tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD
• Ability to translate business and user needs into clear design goals and actionable product requirements.
• Skilled in user requirements generation, including gathering, analyzing, and documenting functional and UX needs.
• Hands-on experience with interactive prototyping for validating concepts and communicating design intent.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders — engineers, product managers, and fellow designers — to maintain alignment throughout the design and delivery cycle.
