Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a UI/UX Web Developer to leverage SharePoint and other web capabilities for rapid prototyping of integrated web applications across diverse platforms for government and commercial clients.

You will design user-centered interfaces, conduct usability testing, and create wireframes and prototypes while integrating data sources for executive dashboards. The role emphasizes security, accessibility, and collaboration with product managers, designers, and developers.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in a related field required.
• 8 years of experience; in lieu, 2 extra years for AA/AS or 4 extra years for HS diploma.
• TS/SCI w/ Poly clearance required.
• Experience with ITIL and enterprise infrastructure.
• SharePoint Designer, InfoPath, SSRS.
• Knowledge of PHP apps (WordPress, Joomla, Drupal).
• 508 compliance knowledge.
• Agile methodologies experience.
• SharePoint migrations experience.
• Website design experience.
• Operational planning for technical area.
• Innovative product/process development from research and best practices.
• Experience communicating with executive leadership.
• UI/UX tools: Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma.
• Strong front-end: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, responsive design.
• User-centered design and usability testing.
• ServiceNow Agile/SAFE experience.
• Programming: Python, PHP, Java, Bash.
• Front-end frameworks: React, Angular.
• Knowledge management and taxonomy.
• Web governance policies and procedures.
• PHP front-end apps development.
• Azure or AWS cloud environments.
• SQL and MySQL.
• Portfolio of UI/UX design work.

Responsibilities

• Develop SharePoint-based UX/UI from OOTB to custom apps.
• Design intuitive UI/UX aligned with business goals.
• Conduct user research and usability testing.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and mocks for stakeholder approval.
• Integrate multiple data sources for dashboards for execs and gov clients.
• Work with HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• Build secure applications per security guidelines.
• Use DevOps tools and version control.
• Lead testing, documentation, and training.
• Collaborate with product, design, and dev teams.
• Ensure responsive design across devices and browsers.
• Adhere to WCAG/508 for accessibility.
