Job summary

BCforward is seeking a Senior UI/UX Developer / Front-End Developer to join our Collaboration and Productivity Automation Team in a contract role for the M365 SharePoint migration project. The ideal candidate brings strong experience in modern JavaScript frameworks, UI engineering, and CI/CD practices to deliver user-centric interfaces that align with business and technical objectives.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional UI/UX or Front-End development experience.
• Strong object-oriented programming knowledge and software engineering fundamentals.
• Proficiency in Angular (6+), HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and Node.js.
• Hands-on experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with TDD or BDD and mocking frameworks.
• Familiarity with REST and RPC APIs.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy UI for M365 SharePoint migration products.
• Collaborate with technical leads and internal teams to define design and architecture.
• Create and maintain documentation throughout the SDLC.
• Work with Scrum Masters, Product Managers, Application Leads, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver complex features from inception to implementation and iterate based on feedback.
• Mentor and learn with peers to elevate engineering practices.
• Develop UI/UX prototypes and proofs of concept.
