Job summary

CAI is seeking a motivated UI/UX Developer to advance mission-critical applications primarily on Microsoft Azure and Power Platform. You will design, deploy, enhance, and support highly available interfaces for public-facing and internal business functions, in an Agile environment.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of experience, strong frontend skills (React/Angular), and a focus on accessibility and design systems to deliver robust, scalable UI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• 8 years of experience in UI/UX development.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure and Power Platform for mission-critical applications.
• Expertise with governance, security practices, and enterprise delivery methods.
• Frontend: strong React or Angular experience.
• HTML/CSS/JavaScript/TypeScript; component-based, responsive design.
• UX/usability: design systems, wireframes, prototyping, user journey mapping, accessible alert workflows.
• Accessibility: Section 508 / WCAG compliance.
• REST APIs and GTFS data integration into web/Rider Tools/ signage contexts.
• Cloud/DevOps: Azure hosting (Container Apps), Git, CI/CD.
• Legacy transition: migrate Power Apps Portals to modular Azure.

Responsibilities

• Design, code and modify websites from layout to function per client specs.
• Develop and adapt frontend with the established design system, ensuring accessibility.
• Apply UX best practices using modern technologies.
• Build application UIs within accessibility requirements and design system guidelines.
• Capture user requirements using modern tools and methods.
• Contribute to the design system and maintain UI components.
• Collaborate in an Agile team environment.
