Senior UI/UX Engineer to lead the design and implementation of intuitive, high-performance interfaces. You’ll play a key role in shaping the user experience of our platform—helping technical users navigate complex AI outputs and operational data with confidence.

Responsibilities

• Lead UI/UX efforts across core products, from ideation through to implementation and refinement.
• Translate user workflows, data models, and business requirements into clean, efficient, and scalable interface designs.
• Design for complex use cases, including time-series data visualization, forecasting tools, model interpretability interfaces, and interactive dashboards.
• Mentor junior designers and engineers on design best practices, front-end architecture, and accessibility standards.
• Collaborate closely with data scientists, product managers, and backend engineers to create unified, user-friendly solutions for complex AI-powered workflows.
• Drive and maintain a consistent design system that supports scalability and usability across the product suite.
• Proactively conduct user research, usability testing, and design validation sessions—especially with domain experts in the energy industry.

Qualifications

• What you bring:
  • Expertise in front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (React preferred).
  • Deep experience building and maintaining scalable component libraries and design systems.
  • Experience integrating dynamic data visualizations (e.g., D3.js, Plotly, Chart.js) into dashboards or analytics tools.
  • Fluency in modern design and prototyping tools (Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, etc.).
  • Strong grasp of web performance, accessibility (WCAG, ARIA), and responsive design.
  • Domain Experience (Preferred):
    • Experience working on platforms serving enterprise users in the technology, energy, industrial, or utilities sector.
    • Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and how they’re presented in enterprise products (e.g., model outputs, confidence intervals, explainability).
• Soft Skills:
  • Proven ability to advocate for user needs while balancing business and technical constraints.
  • Strong leadership, mentorship, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Systems thinker who can architect UI/UX across multiple modules and user personas.
• Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in HCI, Computer Science, Design, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in UI/UX engineering, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.

Salary: Based on experience in the range of $95-125K. Performance-based annual bonus, company equity, 401K and healthcare benefits.
